Creating a New Diagram

Having chosen which project to create your diagram in (see Organizing Diagrams), with that project selected, select File-New-Other. Eclipse will prompt you to select a wizard.

Select AgileJ StructureViews Diagram then press Next >.

If you right-clicked to get to the New Diagram Wizard, the location where you clicked will already be selected as the parent folder.

That's it. The new diagram will be opened automatically, ready for you to start dragging in classes.

Other ways to Invoke the New Diagram Wizard

• right-click on the location in the package explorer where you would like to create your diagram file and select New-Other-AgileJ StructureViews-AgileJ StructureViews Diagram .
• right-click on other elements in the package explorer, different diagram creation options will be presented under the AgileJ StructureViews menu option. For example, Add to New Diagram.
• right-click on a class on an existing diagram, there are options to create a new diagram starting from just that class, or that class and its subtypes
