Installation

AgileJ StructureViews is installed, uninstalled and kept up-to-date by the Eclipse Update Manager.

Step One - Open the Update Manager

Step Two - Tell it you want to install a new feature

Step Three - Tell it you want to add a new remote site

Step Four - Give it a label and the update URL http://www.agilej.com/structureViews

Step Five - Confirm that you want to check for updates on the site you've just added

If Eclipse reports a problem at this stage, refer to Trouble Shooting

Step Six - Select the AgileJ StructureViews feature from our update site (the version you see will be the current version)

Step Seven - Read the license

Step Eight - Choose where to install

Step Nine - Click Install

Step Ten - wait for it to download

Step Eleven - restart

Step Twelve - open the Eclipse configuration

Step Thirteen - expand the root node and check that com.agileJ.StructureViews is listed; then click 'Show Properties'

Step Fourteen - check the status.

Step Fifteen - paste in the license key on the preference page.

Troubleshooting

As Eclipse tries to make contact with the update site the following error may occur:

...and the install will end with the message:

The most likely cause is that you are behind a proxy server, and Eclipse needs to be told the address of the proxy server:

Select Preferences

then enter your proxy host address and port number.

If you are still not able to install from the remote update site, try downloading the update site; then in the dialog on step 5 press the 'New Local Site' button.
